Welcome to the W.A. Perry Media Center!
Our mission is to promote literacy and reading plus the responsible use of technology with all students.
Our goals are to help each student find his or her favorite books and authors; to help each student become a lifelong recreational reader; to encourage each student to see reading as a major learning tool in school; to help each student develop responsible technology skills.

Media Center Objectives:
Students will keep logs of their recreational reading and participate in various reading celebrations, events, and contests throughout the year. Students will use their MAP test Lexile scores to help them select books. Students will use technology appropriately to support their educational goals and objectives. Students will acquire research skills for online and paper resources. Students will cite their references correctly for each research project.
